✍️ What is Chainsight?
Chainsight is an on-chain data hub where any data, including on-chain and off-chain, are available for on-chain applications.
When you build something on-chain and want to use data inside the application, you have to rely on Oracle providers in most cases. Now, you can prepare data for your on-chain apps by yourself with Chainsight.
Available data in Chainsight

Chainsight allows you to access various data from your smart contracts, such as volatility based on historical data, RWA price feeds, and a customizable crypto market index (Chainsight20). These data can be accessed from any blockchain, and with the Chainsight CLI, you can index any data you need yourself.
FAQ
- Q. Why we develop Chainsight?
- A. 100x data available for on-chain
- The motivation behind building Chainsight is to make the crypto market larger than the current market.
- We think that we need to make data available on-chain to be the next generation of DeFi or advanced on-chain applications. Basically, a blockchain is just a state machine, and we can only see the current state, not the past historical events. But with Chainsight, we are able to access any kind of data, not only historical data but also off-chain data, which can be integrated with on-chain applications, which would lead to a new path to building more advanced applications, similar to what we can see in the traditional finance.
- Q. What is Chainsight?
- A. An on-chain data hub that can be integrated with on-chain apps
- Blockchain (EVM or others) is a state machine. It costs a lot to store a large amount of data on blockchain, which is why we are here.
- If you need data on Base, we can build data components for Base on Chainsight and integrate them into your application.
- Technically speaking, we are not an Oracle Provider. We are a platform where any developer can be an Oracle Provider.
